The website was easy to navigate. Setting the appointment was easy and same day. Max called to say he could be here early which worked out perfect. He was able to complete the quote within minutes and inform me off all that is involved. He was almost able to install it today as well which really impressed me. I am very impressed with the overall professionalism and client focus. I am in the middle of a renovation and this was the easiest piece of it so far.

I feel as though I was taken advantage in February when I was charged $500 when it was obvious that the entire door would need to be replaced at some point in the near future. I wish I had been informed of the parts that were compromising the door at that time. Now I'm getting a new door including the hinges and rollers I paid for in February.

Kris, Our technician that was out to your house, both in February and again in October, was Rudy. I appreciate your feedback and concern that perhaps we could have identified additional issues in February. I have since reviewed both your February invoice and 25-point inspection, and feel that what we did identify in February Rudy recommended you repair and you did. Our inspection in February did not identify any issues other than those that we repaired – the Garage Door Operator trolley and the rollers. Unfortunately, there is no way in advance to know just when a Torsion Spring is going to break, which is why we were called out now in October. What we repaired in February, and your broken Torsion spring now in October, are two separate and different issues. It was not obvious to our technician, neither in February or now in October, that your door would need replacing. Our recommendation to you now in October is that replacing the main mechanics of your door (springs, bearings, & cables) is a more economical solution than a new door. The parts Rudy was recommending on your door would have come with a lifetime warranty versus a 1-3 year warranty with the new door you have purchased. I appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to respond, and trust that the new garage door you purchased has resolved your garage door issue. Craig Amundson, Owner

5-star, world-class professional work. - Gary called 15 minutes before arrival (perfect). - Gary arrived at exactly the time schedule (perfect) and - Gary had every tool and all the parts for the job in his truck -meaning no delays (perfect). I knew I had one bad coil spring and originally wanted to just replace the bad one and its mate. Gary's inspection revealed other hardware issues (one I knew of, one I did not). Because of the LIFETIME and TRANSFERRABLE guarantee, I opted for a package deal that essentially took most moving parts back to "New" status. Quality of work: 10. Quality of installation: 10. The warranty will be nice when and if I sell the house. Outstanding job.

I took him into the garage, he explained what he was going to do and what he was looking for with regard to how the door worked. After several minutes he told me that the doors were in good shape overall. He needed to tighten the chain on one door. He lubed the chains and moving parts.

The service after the installation is terrible. I called and reported to the staff that the door won't close due to the sun ray hitting one of the safety sensor. Every afternoon when my husband gets home he has to struggle with getting the garage door closed. I called Precision and they said they will charge a service fee for the technician to come out to take a look. And that's not Rudy said when he installed the new springs and the new opener (cost to us is over $1,200 with tax). He said Precision will always stand behind the products and works. It proofs they're not.

The sun in New Mexico is such a blessing and sometimes, in this case with safety eye sensors, can be a challenge. I agree that your door not closing is unacceptable which is why I made this issue a priority. After receiving this email, I called the customer and we have since been back out to their home twice to ensure the problem with their safety eye sensors was resolved. We were able to move the sensors back from the door opening and believe this will resolve the issues the sun was causing.

The service was to have a person come by and give me an estimate on a new garage door. The technician who came by was very helpful. He sat down and took time to explain the different options with me. He was very sincere. The quote was several hundred dollars more than 2 other garage door companies had provided, but the technician explained the differences well.

We chose Precision because they are an authorized dealer/service company for Marantec products and that's the brand of garage door opener that we have. Gary arrived on time, knew the job well, diagnosed several problems we were having and had everything he needed to repair it all. We got new rollers, new springs and a replacement head-end unit (ours was under warranty). Y'all did what you said you'd do: Same Day Service! Very pleasant technician and fast service. However I feel we paid quite a premium for the one opener purchased, and for the install of two openers. The technician gave some good advice about applying lithium grease ( a spray application available at home improvement stores similar to WD-40) to the door hinges and springs, and screw drive of one opener, but for the price paid I think spraying these items could have been included. Also, there was not great care taken to pick up all the trash afterward and I cleaned up numerous wire cuttings myself, which was disappointing. There is an internet coupon available, but the technician did not mention it. I wonder if there were other savings opportunities not communicated. This does not leave the most trusting impression.

I called to get my garage door fixed because it would not close or open properly. I was able to get a same day appointment for 2-4pm. Got an e-mail showing a photo of who would be coming(Max). Max called and showed up early. He tuned the opener and lubed the rollers in about a half hour. I was impressed by his manner explaining what he had done. Thanks for a job well done. Ralph
