Saturday July 20 at 3:30 PM. Mainspring broke. Could not open the garage door. Called Precision at 4:30 PM. They could have a man here Sunday 8:00-10:00 AM. Man showed up at 8:20 AM. Diagnosed problem. Prepared 3 quotes, basic, mid-upper level, upper level. I accepted hybrid mid-upper w/some upper level options. Man started word 8:50 AM, completed 9:30 AM. Even though it was a Sunday this was a routine service call, nothing special because it was a Sunday. Could not ask for anything better.

We were very fortunate to have Tyler as our service person. Tyler evaluated our garage door, tracks and motor and explained what he could, and could not, do to adjust the unit. He is very knowledgeable about the repair approach, costs, and availability of replacement parts. He was prompt in answering our questions and did not push for a quick answer nor attempt to direct us in any direction. My wife and I did decide that we desired an upgrade in an insulated door and a quieter operating unit. In addition we will enjoy more peace of mind with a new unit dependability versus the old mechanism that we currently have now.

Gary arrived quite promptly, phoned beforehand so we could steer him a bit. He was on track! Got us our 2 additional door openers, while checking out our door operation and the motor etc. We were good to go with our openers, and Gary advised on some timing of maintenance and on what exactly we might run into at some point in the future.
