Precision installed one of our garage door openers a number of years ago. After PNM replaced our electric meter on Saturday, that garage door opener would close but automatically open again. We called Precision, hoping for an early Monday appointment. (We did disable the opener so it would remain closed.) We were pleased to find out they could come on Sunday at no extra charge. Aaron came and fixed the opener in no time. Everything was done professionally -- phone call, text with Aaron's picture, etc. We will definitely call Precision for any garage door needs!

Asked your company to come look at my garage door issue. The technician came out and saw that the carriage screw drive assembly was stripped out and said "oh, yeah. That means everything needs to be replaced. Motor, carriage assembly, wheels/bearings, springs and wires". He then provided me an estimate for $986.00. I thanked him for his time and sent him on his way. I even told him that I would be selling my house in less than 6 months, so I wanted a cheap solution. Not happy with him trying to tell me everything had to be replaced. I then ordered the carriage assembly from Amazon for $17./95 and watched a quick video on YouTube and fixed it myself.

We had Precision install our new garage door and opener two years ago, and it is still the quietest door we've ever had. I needed an additional garage door opener to replace one I'd lost (my reason for today's visit), and they took care of me quickly and thoroughly, guiding me through the steps to sync my new opener with the garage unit. I've used other garage door companies in Albuquerque prior to having Precision do our replacement door and equipment, but I'll never call anyone else but them for repairs or replacements.

The technician (Tyler) was prompt, competent, professional and courteous. He called prior to arrival, arrived when he said he would, and kept me informed as to the inspection results, and provided options on what needed repairing. After I decided on an option, he had everything ready in his truck so he was able to perform the work on the spot and not come back. As I did not want to take more time off work for a follow up appointment, I was happy that he was able to take care of everything in a single visit. I bought a very QUIET, belt driven opener from Precision in late 2011and have had very few problems with it. Once, it was the new spring that needed re-tensioning. A few times, the cold weather caused a closing hiccup, and all it took was a reset by the technician. Such was the case this time. Less than 15 minutes was required to get the closer working perfectly again. The opener wasn't inexpensive, but it is the best value for the money I ever spent! The technician (initials LH) who installed it is the same tech who has responded to my service requests. He is very knowledgeable about his business. I'm sure that he leaves all his customers completely satisfied.

I have had previous work done by Precision and was very satisfied with the results. Today was a very minor problem which I tried to fix myself but, was working at the wrong end of the garage door opener. Kevin fixed it quickly and showed me where I went wrong in my endeavor. In the process of discussing the door, I went ahead and decided to just replace it as the metal had split and was slowly working its way toward destruction. Kevin took the order (and my money). The installation is set for tomorrow (10th) morning. Assuming tomorrows work is carried out to "perfection", I will remain satisfied with the service and information I have received from the technicians and your admin people.
