Wow! My garage spring broke and I called first thing in the morning. Someone came out at noon (he was actually early!) and it was totally fixed by two and I was on my way. We used Precision a few years ago to repair a broken garage door spring and they were great. Recently we have been looking to install upgraded garage doors (carriage doors) to increase the value of our home and improve the outward appearance. Like the review below, at first we were frustrated a tech had to come out for the estimate. It seems like we should get an estimate online. However, unlike the review below, we are extremely glad we had Lorenzo come out for our estimate! He took the time to measure our doors (odd size), review clearance concerns with the types of doors we wanted, honestly evaluate the condition of our existing hardware, take into consideration the environment where we live and many more factors. He made several phone calls to confirm various factors. The price was far lower than we expected. We were also pleased to learn Precision not only hauls off old doors, but recycles them! And the warranty was excellent for the doors, finish, hardware, etc. In this day and age of instant gratification, it's people like Lorenzo that make us slow down and realize that is is worthwhile to get an expert to really understand the situation. Had we gone with an order from someone who didn't come look at our home, we'd have garage doors that wouldn't work or had limited warranties. Not only was Lorenzo knowledgeable and meticulously thorough, he was extremely polite and even arrived 5 minutes early (to a 1.5 hr appointment time slot - that never happens!). We highly recommend Precision and Lorenzo.

Professional but overpriced. Service person seemed more interested in selling products than in providing good value to customer. For example, minimal diagnosis before recommending product. Also, left smudge marks on new seal track. Was fast and courteous, though.

This service and the $50.00 were a scam!!! It was my complete understanding that the service was to "Tune" my garage door. That meant lubing it and doing any other maintenance that would be required. Instead you came out and told me(my wife) that the garage door needed to be greased/lubed. I already knew that, I didn't need to spend $50 to find out what I knew!!! And the idea that you'd charge me an additional $100 just to lube the dam garage door is a total scam. You may have gotten $50.00 out of me but guess how I'll pass on my experience to my neighbors.

The charge to which you are referring is our Service Call fee, which we assess in an effort to cover a portion of the cost for our technician's drive time, fuel, and overhead. Included in our Service Call we perform a very detailed 25-point inspection and review the inspection results with the customer. We perform this safety inspection each and every time we visit a customer's home in to assure we identify any and all issues before commencing work. Our charge for this Service Call is one of the lowest in the Albuquerque & Santa Fe area and we are the only company I am aware of that performs the 25-point inspection. I am sorry you felt this was an excessive charge and I will assure that our call center does a better job of explaining this charge to our customers who call.

I could not believe the fast response to my request I was still on the phone with AHS and you were calling me to make a appointment. The appt. was made the same day between 3 and 5 pm. When your tech. arrived before 5 I was really impressed with him he was really into his work and really knew his job. He was also very personable and swift at his job. Several months ago we had gotten the roller replacement/tune-up special from Angie's List. That service was done well and the tech was skilled and knowlegable, so when one of our springs (30 years old) broke, we went with Precision again. 2 for 2. Same day service. Gary was on time,a little early actually, skilled, knowlegable and had the springs, bearings, cables done in about an hour. With the rollers done a few months ago, the door is quieter and opens more easily than it has in years.
