My garage door wouldn't open. I called Precision who had installed the door. They were very responsive and sent a technician within a couple of hours. Rudy was great. He found the problem and fixed it. Then he did a thorough inspection. My door is as good as new now.

Belt-drive opener was installed in 2011 & has been mostly trouble free. Strange graphite-looking streak just appeared on the outside center of the overhead door. Tony was dispatched for a look. First impression was something in the rail, but all was dry & no belt chunks or cuts seen. Tony hadn't ever seen a belt problem such as this, then took a good look at the door end of the rail and saw the cause: oil dripping from the center end of one spring. It could be a sealed bearing leak, or possibly Silicon lubricant that had been applied during February's tune-up. After Tony cleaned the oil off the spring and door, we decided to keep watch. If no more oily drips, no problem. If it recurs, then we'll replace the springs.

I will not EVER use any other garage door company than Precision. Tony was here two hours early, which is AWESOME, and fixed brackets that were coming off my door and not obviously allowing the door to open. Works like new. From the time when we called Precision Door after the spring broke ad we could not open and my wife's care was stuck in the Garage and the Technician arrived was approximately three hours. The technician took less than 1/2 an to fix the and then less than 1/2 hour to replace all the moving parts. We had purchased the door over ten years ago and the parts needed replacing.
