The technician finished a previous job early and called me before coming over to ensure it was ok to arrive early. He went over every option for fixing my garage door and although the solution was not cheap, it had confirmed my research that the door probably needed a rebuild. The installation was completed quickly and although a bit expensive, the quality work, a licensed technician and the lifetime warranty made it well worth the cost.

Excellent service. I found the warranty on previous 8 year old opener after work to replace had begun so a discount was applied to the upgraded opener and rollers and keyless remote that I had selected as a replacement. I was impressed that the previous warranty was honored. The technician Lorenzo Herrera was very professional and did a great job installing the new unit and removing the old parts and old opener. Lorenzo also took the time to explain how the new opener worked. I would rate this a 5 star experience.

Craig called first (as he said he would) arrived on time and got right to work after we discussed the problem. He correctly diagnosed the problem, offered a solution, had the replacement parts on hand and made the repair on the spot. A done deal and the door was back in service that same morning. I own a Home Inspection company. I'm often asked by home buyers and sellers who I recommend for home repair services. As a rule, I only recommend service providers that I have used personally as a consumer and homeowner and whose service I am completely satisfied with. I provide a 5 star rating for the my garage door repair service which was performed by Mr. Gary Lang and his assistant Rhyan on the same day I called Precision Door Service of Albuquerque. I found the company ad in the yellow telephone directory and I requested the same day service as advertised. The repair was performed in a very professional manner as well as explaining every option available and the cost of each one.

Work accomplished was done. Service call fee is excessive especially in that it does not count toward first hour of labor. Technician who arrived did initial tear down. The reassembly if I was to have nothing done would be the cost to reassemble plus service call fee. Technician walked a fine line between being knowledgeable and being a know-it-all. Technician sprayed lubricant on panel hinges from inside. By the next morning the lubricant seeped through 8 spots between panels where hinges were. I called to have the spots cleaned off. Same technician showed and said the door was already dirty, my wife disagreed. The Technician said old doors like this leak. Realized the door opener was track and chain and not the cause. Then said the spring was lubricated and that it dripped on the door. My wife pointed out the stains were near the hinges and not below the spring. The technician again was a know-it-all and refused to accept responsibility at any point. The technician wiped the door down not only where the spots were but the whole door. The wipe down was done poorly. Now the wipe marks can be seen and the door finished looks mottled and smudged. I'm cleaning the door myself and not having these people touch it again. I will not use this company again.

I thought I was way overcharged for the repair. $530 for less than an hours work

I am sorry that you feel this is overpriced. This price included labor done at the first appointment, keeping your door usable until the damaged panel could be installed the next day. It also included the price of a new panel for your double-car garage door and for the installation crew coming to replace the damaged panel and hauling your old panel away to have it recycled. I trust the job was done well and your door is back to the way it was before the incident. We thank you for your business and are always here to help when you need us.
