Gary arrived quite promptly, phoned beforehand so we could steer him a bit. He was on track! Got us our 2 additional door openers, while checking out our door operation and the motor etc. We were good to go with our openers, and Gary advised on some timing of maintenance and on what exactly we might run into at some point in the future. No problems at this time though. We were done in probably 20ish minutes, and easy does it!!! Thank you, Margie Farber

David was amazing! I have two really old single vehicle wood garage doors. He assessed the situation and gave me thorough feedback on each of my options. He was willing to complete service/products for whichever option I chose. I knew I needed to get new doors, and that's the option I chose. There isn't enough room in this comment area to mention all the things David helped me to get situated for the new doors installation (including helping me move my cars and current garage door operator boxes to fit my situation). Surprised at how quick my appointment was after a Holiday weekend. Made appt on Tuesday morning and Lorenzo Herrera appeared on time at 2 pm and completed the repair by 3:30 including programming one auto and setting up a new remote unit. Keep up the good work.......

My technician was Lorenzo and he was very thorough and professional, as well as efficient, in his work. I purchased a garage door tune-up service through Angie's List after calling Precision Door Service on a Saturday morning. Service was scheduled for that afternoon. Lorenzo, the certified sales technician, was very professional and thorough. During his detailed inspection of the garage door, my husband and I agreed that it would be best to replace the garage door opener, rollers, torsion cables, drums, bearing plates, torsion tube, etc. Lorenzo was able to do that right away. After completing the installation, he inspected everything and showed us how to operate the new opener. He even made sure I could open and close the door manually without any trouble.

The spring on my garage door broke on Saturday evening. I called to make an appointment Sunday morning and was scheduled for that afternoon - he was at my house before the scheduled time, which is great! I was given repair options and the tech explained everything I needed. Repairs were completed in less than an hour. If we ever need repair work on our garage door again, we'll definitely be calling Precision Door Service!

I called on a Sunday 4/30/17 and actually got a real person!! That's the first plus+. Second, I had an appointment scheduled in minutes and got a online confirmation for the next day 5/1/17. My appoint was at 4:00pm but I told the representative to call me if they could get here sooner. The representative (David) called me at 12:00pm and said he could be at my home in a hour if that was ok. he should up when promised, was clean, very professional, reviewed all the work necessary and completed putting on new springs and a control for garage door in less than a hour.... One Very Happy customer here... who would recommend Precision to you all!!

Very prompt service and installation of a new opener with four remotes which only took about an hour and a half...Lorenzo the installation technician was very personable and helpful in explaining the operation which was a bit different from my pervious system...This new Precision opener is remarkably quiet compared to other systems I have owned...

When I was having problems with my garage door I had called several places. I found Precision to be helpful and when the technician came over he wasnt pushing me for a sale. This I really liked. He took the time to explain everything and what I could afford was within my budget. Yesterday, late afternoon, my garage door failed to open. Upon checking further I noticed the Garage Door Spring had snapped. I immediately went to the Web to check on Garage Door Repair companies. After a thorough search, I found Precision to offer the best Service and Warranty. I called them yesterday evening and received a prompt response. I explained the situation and Precision set up a service call for today, between 10AM and 12 Noon and that Gary would be calling. Well Gary called early and came early. He was friendly knowledgeable and explained in detail what had to be done. Well, he did an excellent job and from that experience I would have no problem recommending Precision for any garage door repair or even installing a new garage door. So....Thank you GARY! and thank you PRECISION!...

Very disappointed with my experience with Precision. I called in and told them exactly what was wrong and what I needed done, but they wouldn't give me a ballpark estimate without sending a tech over. They said the tech would have to evaluate the garage door and that only then could I get an estimate. I had already called several other places and gotten estimates with no issues. Against my better judgement I scheduled an appointment with Precision because they had same day service available and I figured it would be about the same cost as the other places I had gotten estimates from. The tech came over and was very friendly and I told him what the issue was and what I wanted done. The tech looked at it for 2 minutes and agreed with what needed to be done. He then quoted me well over 2X the price of the other quotes I'd received. I was totally shocked and thought he had made a mistake. I asked him to go over what all that price included and he took me through all of the items. Essentially they were tying to up-sell and replace everything (rollers, hinges, bearings, pulleys/cables, and spring). I then asked him for a quote if only the work that was actually needed (broken spring replacement) and he entered it into his tablet and the price was still almost 2X the cost of the other quotes I had gotten. I asked if there was any other cheaper options to be competitive with the other quotes I had gotten and unfortunately there weren't. At this point I said that I was not going to have the work done by Precision and the tech said he understood and that there would still be the service charge for the 10 minute visit. I asked if there was anything he could do to waive the fee since he didn't diagnose anything that I hadn't already told them was wrong and he said that unfortunately he could not do that. So, I paid the fee and got another company to come out and do the repair for much less despite having to pay the service fee to Precision. My advice is to do your research and get several quotes (as one should always do with anything).
