Your technician James Serda worked on our garage doors yesterday Thursday the 23rd. He did an excellent job, and I recommend him very highly. He is thorough, professional, knowledgeable, and communicative. He explained every step of the work before he did it and was very clear about the pricing and the different options available. My wife and I enjoyed meeting him and having him do the garage door maintenance. he tested both doors several times and and made the necessary adjustment un til things worked perfectly. There is a big disconnect between the people who answer the phone and make the appointments, and the technicians and company records. They have trouble finding my account and don't understand that I am a property manager and can be invoiced and don't communicate that at all, apparently, to the technician completeing the call. In addition, yesterday, I made an appointment, with instructions to make the service call appointment directly with the tenant. When I followed up today, the tenant said they had never called her and when she called them they had no record of the service request ever having been made. When I called them today, they verified that there was no record of my call from the previous day. I had to start at ground zero today..and the tenant had to wait a whole day, to get their garage door fixed. I give a lot of business to this company and would like to be appreciated more by having my account being quick to access and the arrangements I have made regarding payment clearly recorded for the technicians and appointment makers to see. I spent $4,800 with your company today...and I don't feel the love! If I had been recognized as a regular, repeat customer, and the appointment maker had followed through, I'd be rating you with 5 stars. The front line people are making you look bad.

Great fast service but cost of parts are marked up about 2500% so maybe try a couple other places and get quotes first. Although they are quick and timely here and the work is done fast and neat the price for parts is very very questionable. Not sure where they buy the parts but looked up parts after they had completed and was charged $250 for a $60 part at Home Depot for each spring so not sure if that was including the labor into part price but something that was supposed to cost around $200 to $400 cost $1000 even after their so called service discount special taking off $100. So suggest getting other quotes before pulling the trigger, just saying. But the job was done promptly I will give them that and they were very professional but due to the overcharging I could not give more stars because that is just too big of a difference to me, a disabled veteran on a limited income, especially when you are trapped in your home because you cannot get your car out of the garage.

I called Precision Garage Door because I needed service on a German made Direct Drive garage door opener. After checking all the different components he determined it was shorting and since there are no parts available he installed a Lift Master. This was my second choice to call to come get my garage door to be fixed I had accidentally hit it with my car n it gave it a dent so it wouldn’t close and first I called this other place but they didn’t have anyone to come same day not even for emergency but yet they was charging 60-70$ more then here for emergency they were very helpful over phone they had said they will have some one show up at 6-8pm you can say a lil after I had called to send someone Allen arrived lil earlier then 6 Great experience he was honest polite he took his time to look what was wrong found the dent fixed it thankfully. he didn’t take advantage nor over charge nor added extra fees how some do! I will recommend this company to anyone ! Thank you again!

Hi Gary, We called Precision because the previous owners (9 years ago) had your sticker by the garage door opener button, so . . . And for good reason. Tony came out - first off, professionally dressed, and in a clean, well-kept company truck (always a good start). When I described what we needed on the garage door (a fairly major tune-up), he didn't hesitate to demonstrate his considerable knowledge of garage door systems and what is necessary to keep them running smoothly. Turns out, several easily-visible items need attention, but there was no high-pressure, no upselling, etc. He put together two estimates for repairs, both encompassing the necessary repairs, with one adding some items that were considered helpful extras for maintenance. A firm handshake (also a 'plus') and a signature on the larger estimate, and he was on his way, telling us Colleen at the office would call to schedule the service (forthcoming at this point). All in all, a good start to what will, hopefully, keep us opening and closing for many years. Many thanks.

They came out on a Saturday at not extra cost. They do have a trip charge. I was given 3 choices and prices on how to resolve my problem. They do have warranties on the two upper tier. The technician(s) answered all of my inquisitive questions, which helped me make decisions. They did a very good job, tested it out and tweaked this it that including any requests I had. So I am very satisfied with their job and I even added a bit more to the job. So I’ll be using Precision for my garage needs.

It was a Sunday morning and I went to open my garage and it would not lift up. I noticed the spring had broke in half. I chose Precision because they helped with a prior problem about 4-5 years ago. My garage door coil spring needed replacement. Repairs were needed immediately because the door was stuck in the open position. Precision came out on a Sunday to repair it. Today, my garage door opener was replaced. The coil spring on my garage door broke in the afternoon and by that evening the door was fixed. I called about 3:00 pm and received a same day appointment between 4:00 and 6:00 pm. The technician Allen Sallis communicated his expected arrival shortly after calling for service. He arrived and did a complete assessment of my garage door. The door is 25 years old and he made several recommendations to us that should be done to bring the door hardware back to good working order in addition to replacing the coil spring. He presented a detailed estimate that included several options and we agreed on what needed to be done. He had all the parts on his truck and was able to complete the work in about 45 minutes. The door is working perfectly and we could not be happier.
