The coil spring on my garage door broke in the afternoon and by that evening the door was fixed. I called about 3:00 pm and received a same day appointment between 4:00 and 6:00 pm. The technician Allen Sallis communicated his expected arrival shortly after calling for service. He arrived and did a complete assessment of my garage door. The door is 25 years old and he made several recommendations to us that should be done to bring the door hardware back to good working order in addition to replacing the coil spring. He presented a detailed estimate that included several options and we agreed on what needed to be done. He had all the parts on his truck and was able to complete the work in about 45 minutes. The door is working perfectly and we could not be happier.

I had Precision replace my broken garage door springs about 12 years ago. They were still working but some other parts and pieces on the door had had enough and the door was starting to bind. I accidentally hit my garage door with my car and it broke a few hinges and It would not close. I called for emergency service and they quoted in-between 6-8 pm. My tech arrived promptly at 6 and was gone by 7. Door fixed. Tech was friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend them and use them again to replace the old door.

He explained things to me in a way I could understand, didn't pressure me to buy things I didn't need and told me what would probably fail in the future. Our garage door bracket that fastened pulls and lifts fits the garage door failed. Tony Acker the technician brought to our attention that the springs and rollers were very old and needed replacing. I often receive coupons from Valu- Pack for A-1 garage door and seen their trucks in my neighborhood. Guess name is now owned by another company. I was in dire straits as garage wasn't at all operable and without hesitation i called and within an hour a very nice, professional gentleman was at my home. Spring repair. Technician left the resident; however, I attempted to operate the garage door that now won't fully close, stops at 4/5th point and automatically goes back up. Rail sensors appear to be operating normally. Technician returning to resident to repair on 1-16-25 after 4:30 pm.
