Hello! My name is Tony Acker. I am a proud lifelong citizen of Albuquerque, NM. I completed my Automotive Technology diploma with WyoTech in Laramie, Wyoming and went on to spend 8 years in the automotive industry, restoring and building high-performance classic cars in Austin, Texas, and Albuquerque. Restoring a classic car from the ground up instilled in me, attention to detail, the value of quality products, and excellence in craftsmanship. Precision offers the same quality and craftsmanship in all its parts and services and I’m excited to be a part of the team. To quote Henry Ford, quality means doing it right when no one is looking. No matter the project, I work hard to ensure I am providing quality service and products to my customers- even when no one is looking. We have a single door and a double door. The single door kept throwing the cable on both sides of the door. I called Precision on a Saturday around 10:00 in the morning and got an appointment the same day between 2 and 4 in the afternoon. The tech (Tony) called and said he could be there around 1:30. He came completely equipped with all parts necessary to complete the job. We elected to completely overhaul both doors complete with two new Liftmaster openers. A second tech arrived and they had both doors done by 4:30 that same day! New openers, bearings, springs, cables and rollers all replaced the remaing parts serviced and lubed for both doors. Outstanding customer service, knowledge and professionalism. That said the price was amazingly lower than expected. All that in one call and same day service. Very highly recomended!

I had a great experience, start to finish! I scheduled an appointment and one was made available to me within 24 hours of contacting the company. I like getting a photo of the technician and an estimated time. Tony arrived early and solved my problem in 45 minutes total. He gave me price ranges so I could decide what was best for my budget. I will definitely use Precision the next time my garage acts up!

I called Precision on Sunday scheduled an appointment for Monday morning between 8 am and 10 am. Tony called and said he was on the way. He did a complete overhaul with a new opener. First company in a long time that did what they said they would do on time and all. Tony was very professional and did a great job. I will recommended this company.

We love our new garage door opener, it is so quiet and of better quality then what we had. The old one was driven by chain, wore out and the door fell almost hitting me, it was indeed time for a new one. I will not EVER use any other garage door company than Precision. Tony was here two hours early, which is AWESOME, and fixed brackets that were coming off my door and not obviously allowing the door to open. Works like new. Took Tony no time to safety check and fix, and prices were great! He even changed our light bulb in the opener. Use them. You will be happy you did!!

On May14 2021 I needed service for my garage door which did not close anymore. I was promised that a service person would come at a certain time frame. The young man, Tony, did arrive promptly. After a brief discussion he went to work and repaired the garage door. Tony did an excellent job. I am very satisfied with the work and in the timely manner he did it. I could not be more pleased with the service I received from Tony Acker of Precision Door Service yesterday. He texted me that he was going to arrive sooner than expected and included his picture in the text for identification. His work was first rate, and fast, with no pressure to purchase upgrades (although I did). He was courteous, explained the work he was preforming and wore a Covid mask throughout the repair. Precision has my business for life.

Such a prompt response to our 7:30am call; Technician Tony was here in less than 2 hours. He quickly diagnosed the problem and made the needed adjustment. Included in the reasonable charge for the service call, he performed a safety inspection and proclaimed the door A-OK. This was the same competent service as the business provided in 2014; we are happy we called Precision again.
