Hello! My name is Tony Acker. I am a proud lifelong citizen of Albuquerque, NM. I completed my Automotive Technology diploma with WyoTech in Laramie, Wyoming and went on to spend 8 years in the automotive industry, restoring and building high-performance classic cars in Austin, Texas, and Albuquerque. Restoring a classic car from the ground up instilled in me, attention to detail, the value of quality products, and excellence in craftsmanship. Kim answered the phone immediately. (Other companies had wrong #s.) Tony arrived exactly on schedule, assessed the problems correctly, and gave me an accurate estimate immediately. It took him 1-1/2 hours to make repairs that will probably last for the next 20 years. The door functioned perfectly and much quieter when fixed properly. 100% pleased!

Tony Acker did a wonderful job installing a new garage door opener to replace our 27 year old opener. I was glad that he was able to install a brand new opener right then and there after figuring out that there was no way to repair the existing one. He was in and out quickly and everything was left nice and neat. The new opener is very quiet and has a lot of new features. We have done business with Precision several times now and they have never disappointed us in service or quality. Excellent company to do business with.

Professional, polite and efficient. Explained the problems dealing with the garage door opening and closing. Finished the replacement of motor and lifting mechanism within two hours. Cleaned up after himself. The quote was to the penny. The tech was kind enough to let me know that weekly garbage pick was on my street. He got all the garbage to the curb. I called at 3:00 pm and the tech was at my house before 4:00 pm. He replaced a garage door opener and was finished before 5:00 pm. Tony was very personable and professional. I highly recommend Precision Garage Door service.

Belt-drive opener was installed in 2011 & has been mostly trouble free. Strange graphite-looking streak just appeared on the outside center of the overhead door. Tony was dispatched for a look. First impression was something in the rail, but all was dry & no belt chunks or cuts seen. Tony hadn't ever seen a belt problem such as this, then took a good look at the door end of the rail and saw the cause: oil dripping from the center end of one spring. It could be a sealed bearing leak, or possibly Silicon lubricant that had been applied during February's tune-up. After Tony cleaned the oil off the spring and door, we decided to keep watch. If no more oily drips, no problem. If it recurs, then we'll replace the springs.

Such a prompt response to our 7:30am call; Technician Tony was here in less than 2 hours. He quickly diagnosed the problem and made the needed adjustment. Included in the reasonable charge for the service call, he performed a safety inspection and proclaimed the door A-OK. This was the same competent service as the business provided in 2014; we are happy we called Precision again.
