I expected a tuneup, not just a grease job and a sales pitch to buy a $500 opener. I can grease it myself.
I am sorry that you were disappointed in your service! You purchased our Lube and Tune Special which in part includes lubrication of your door and opener parts with our lithium-based lubricant. This is advisable annually to maintain reliable, quiet operation and safety. However, also included was our 25-point garage door safety inspection (page 3 of your invoice) consisting of inspecting and servicing tracks, rails, checking nuts bolts and replacing any that are missing if necessary, inspection and advice on springs, cables, pulleys, center bearings, drums, torsion bar, jamb and flag brackets, hinges, general panel condition, opener, gear and sprocket assembly, weather seal, bottom rubber, wall button and remotes. We offer this service to ensure that your entire system is working optimally. Any findings or recommendations our technicians report are for your information and consideration and can be purchased additionally as the customer sees fit. Thank you for your business and feedback. Service was fast and thorough. A spring popped late on a Friday night and I needed a full overhaul since all of my door parts were at least 25 years old and showed their age. Rudy, the technician, was excellent. Fast, professional, and very helpful. My door is good as new now. I also appreciated the Saturday service. Highly recommend!!

Doing a complete overhaul on a garage door can be expensive. When we consider this is the most used entry and exit to our home we often want assurance that all will function correctly. After reviewing the results of the 25-point safety inspection with you, it was decided our technician should perform a complete overhaul based on the condition of your door. This Overhaul included two (2) high cycle springs, Center Bearing, Center Bracket, Left & Right End Brackets with Bearings, Left & Right Drums, Left & Right Torsion Cables, Set of 10 Rollers, Lube-n-Tune, and a Lifetime Guarantee on parts and labor. It is often the case that a complete overhaul makes the most sense as the door hardware has a tendency to wear out at the same rate of cycles (commonly 8,000-10,000 cycles). We can offer our lifetime guarantee based on the fact that Precision Door Service uses a much higher grade of product, often exceeding 60,000-80,000 cycles. It is important to me as the owner of this company that my customer's do not feel taken advantage. I have reviewed the 25-point safety inspection results and believe that the overhaul was the correct course of action by you the homeowner. You can also have peace of mind knowing that should you have any issues with your door in the future we will be here to take care of you based on your warranty.

Will Farmerie was our initial associate who came out on time and gave us an honest estimate of what we needed without trying to over sell anything we didn't need. Ruben came out on time, after calling ahead. I thought it would take him all day to completely replace our old double car garage door and motor by himself, and it only took him about 3 1/2 hours. He was very polite, professional, and thorough. The new garage door and motor was extremely quiet. Excellent team work and a great company to refer or do business with in the future. Thank you guys!

My garage door broke in the up position and I needed it attended to immediately. My regular garage door person was out of town so I looked in the Yellow Pages and found Precision. The ad said "emergency service" and "24/7". I called and the response was beyond my expectations. Within an hour of my call Will Farmerie was here. Found the problem and replaced the opener. He was done within an hour and explained to me about the workings of the opener. My experience with Precision was one that rates a five stars plus one. I have his card and Precisions sticker by the opener and if I have any problems I will call them or him. Thanks for the excellent work and giving me a sense of peace knowing that did not have to worry about an open garage door.

Craig repaired a garage door at my mother's house on 1/24/14. He called to let me know he was on his way and the repair was done quickly. We had an automatic garage door opener installed on January 16th. We would like to highly commend Ruben for the wonderful job he did for us. He was very professional and his work was superior. We could not have been more pleased. The following day we had a few glitches to be worked out and Ruben returned and fixed the few porblems that we had.
