Our ancient garage door opener was malfunctioning: sometimes it didn't open, sometimes it wouldn't close, and finally it was opening and closing on its own all day long. I wanted a company with an excellent reputation (and 24/7 service) to come out and see what was wrong. Lorenzo arrived at 10:00 sharp (yes, I was impressed by his promptness) and he clearly explained everything wrong with our garage door opener, including its having an old (and inadequate HP) motor. Lorenzo replaced the system and took the time to explain its many features. I wish all companies, and all service technicians, were this competent and professional!

So arrived home today (Sunday) and come to find out when I went to close my garage door the two side cables unraveled? I was able to ravel them back but the issue was when will it happen again? So we decided to call prescison which we used about a year ago to do a garage door tune up to come out and check out garage to avoid this again. So needless to say it is a Sunday so we thought maybe Tuesday they can get us in but to come to find out they had us set up and arrived within an hour. The tech was Gary and he actually was the same one we used last year. As always Gary is GREAT not only a good guy personally but an expert tech. He explained everything to us and is so quick but very precise. We want to just say THANK YOU to not only the precision company but Gary.

David was amazing! I have two really old single vehicle wood garage doors. He assessed the situation and gave me thorough feedback on each of my options. He was willing to complete service/products for whichever option I chose. I knew I needed to get new doors, and that's the option I chose. I purchased a garage door tune-up service through Angie's List after calling Precision Door Service on a Saturday morning. Service was scheduled for that afternoon. Lorenzo, the certified sales technician, was very professional and thorough. During his detailed inspection of the garage door, my husband and I agreed that it would be best to replace the garage door opener, rollers, torsion cables, drums, bearing plates, torsion tube, etc. Lorenzo was able to do that right away. After completing the installation, he inspected everything and showed us how to operate the new opener. He even made sure I could open and close the door manually without any trouble.

The spring on my garage door broke on Saturday evening. I called to make an appointment Sunday morning and was scheduled for that afternoon - he was at my house before the scheduled time, which is great! Ryan called, arrived on schedule. He helped me decide what was needed for one full door replacement that would hold up in high wind. He also helped plan some replacement for a door which is still useable but needs track and wheel work. Ryan was very courteous and amiable.
