First, I was impressed by your attractive and detailed website. I especially liked the pictures of your technicians, so I knew who was coming. I called and was happy that we could get the repair scheduled so quickly since I didn't know what was wrong with the door, just that the motor was running but the door wasn't going up. When Robert our technician came, he explained exactly what was wrong (chewed up gear), why fixing it would be OK but expensive (half the price of a new opener), and maybe not the best idea (the opener was almost 20 yrs old and something else might break). No pressure to buy a new opener, but it really did seem like the best idea. He installed the new one in only an hour (it's VASTLY better and quieter than the old one), oiled all the old door parts, and walked us through the operation of the new opener. We were really happy with it, and would definitely recommend your company!

I bought a garage door with upgraded hardware around 2011. The left cable has needed replacing about 5 times since then -- it has never failed but continues to unravel. Precision Door has been excellent at handling the warranty work and everything else has been great.

Very disappointed. I got your companies advice and bottom line, not good. I was told because my garage door was an "older " one, it would be best to replace entire door instead of " just " spending $800 to replace runners and rollers. I was told by your service guy that because of a " bearing " it would cost the $800 instead of $300. I talked to my good friend , also who is my insurance agent and he told me to call reputable company they use. $ 250.00 for new runners, rollers and also brushing. HMMMM , makes me wonder about the ethics here,

I am sorry you were not satisfied with our services and am happy you are pleased with the work you had done by the other company. I would like to note that you were not charged for our 25-pt safety inspection which highlighted out all of the issues with your older door since you were not pleased with it's findings. The quote you mentioned for $800 was for two sets of both horizontal tracks and vertical tracks as well as an end bearing plate, 4 jamb brackets 2 flag brackets and a set of lifetime warrantied rollers to optimally fix the mis-aligned track issue you were having. We generally give three options to our customers with the "good" option being the minimal we believe it will take to make your door safe and functional; our "better" option might add services which could be considered preventive; and the "best" option is generally reserved for a customer who wants all the bells and whistles of an upgrade adding style, function, durability, or newer technology. So, an upgrade to a new door was totally optional and was offered as a complete solution with a great warranty to save you from having to worry about it again. We believe in fixing it right the first time for our customers to avoid call-backs and further issues down the road. We understand that every customer is different and has varying needs and are glad you gave us a try. Let us know if you need anything else in the future.

Rudy did an install of a new garage door opener and a refurbishment of the door. He was fast, polite and clean. So far, I am delighted with the product and the work.

I used Precision Overhead Garage Door Service once before when one of the springs broke on my garage door. They were quick, efficient, and friendly. This time, however, they were more than amazing. I was an idiot and ran into my garage door on Super Bowl Sunday. I quickly called the number on the sticker that was thoughtfully left in my garage, and someone actually answered the phone. Within twenty minutes a technician, Robert, was at my house. My garage door was fixed to my satisfaction in thirty minutes. I was amazed, and Robert made me feel less like a dolt. The cost was reasonable. Hopefully, I won't back into my garage door again, but if I ever need someone to come and fix my door, I will definitely call Precision.
