Yesterday I discovered our garage door opener didn't work! Thought it might be just batteries gone bad in the opener remote control? It wasn't so looked up a garage door repair shop on my phone (Google) and picked first one I saw, i.e. "Precision Garage Door Service" serving my area. Called them and got immediate "same day" service. Service man "Gilbert" came out and within moments had discovered not only my original problem's most likely cause! But explained ot me why my "bigger" problem was my garage door springs, rollers, and gears, were going bad also! Our house was new to us, but was over 20 years old since being originally built. Gilbert's advice was honest, easily seen and proved correct, and he offered to fix everything immediately! And he had everything necessary for repairs in his truck!! He then offered to fix everything in one hour or less.....AND HE DID JUST THAT! This was no "slam-bam" sales pitch, about stuff needing fixing that didn't really need fixing. It was super efficiency, fast accurate assessment of needed repairs for "pending" future difficulties concerning old equipment nearing the end of it's service life! Words or comments cannot adequately explain, or convey, our appreciation (my wife and I) for Gilbert's fast, friendly and VERY efficient service for our new home's safety. And day to day use. We are MOST grateful to Gilbert, and the company whose foresight and efficiency in hiring and keeping such a capable employee made him available to us. Thank you again Gilbert from Donna and I!!! Jeff arrived at my residence within one hour of my initial call to Precision. The technician found my problem almost immediately....an optical sensor that had been accidentally moved out of alignment by a trash can. Tyler realigned the sensor and performed minor "tuneup" of the springs and door hinges. This was an extremely efficient discovery of the problem and repair. And now I will be more careful maneuvering my trash can! I am extremely happy with the "silent" garage door I bought from Precision in 2018.

My garage opener was not closing. The service rep determined the problem and reviewed options with me. I decided to have the unit replaced. The service rep installed the motor, a new key pad and movement sensor to turn the lite on and programed two openers for me. He was very efficient and did a great job. I paid a premium price, but I felt it was a good value. Very happy with with the job.

The technician called 45 minutes in advance, so I knew exactly when he would arrive, he diagnosed the problems within about 10 minutes, then installed two new springs and two new guide wires in about 30 minutes, so the job was completely done in less than an hour. He was also very forthcoming in explaining the process and components of a garage door system, and demonstrated impeccable courtesy throughout. Precision is highly recommended, indeed, as I was very pleased.
