You were local while the others I saw were from ABQ. I was quoted about $139 for the weatherstripping I needed and when the technician was done, my bill was 300+. I was disappointed at how he was unable to use some of the existing parts to fix what I needed. In the end I paid $297 for weatherstripping and was very upset about that. The technician did however secure a Triple A discount for me. The technician was professional all the way. Nothing but good things to say about the technician- I just think $300 god weatherstripping was over the top.

Precision installed my door originally. I have had very little difficulty with the quality of the door or the installation. Today, the door was not functioning properly. Precision installed one of our garage door openers a number of years ago. After PNM replaced our electric meter on Saturday, that garage door opener would close but automatically open again. We called Precision, hoping for an early Monday appointment. (We did disable the opener so it would remain closed.) We were pleased to find out they could come on Sunday at no extra charge. Aaron came and fixed the opener in no time. Everything was done professionally -- phone call, text with Aaron's picture, etc. We will definitely call Precision for any garage door needs!

Asked your company to come look at my garage door issue. The technician came out and saw that the carriage screw drive assembly was stripped out and said "oh, yeah. That means everything needs to be replaced. Motor, carriage assembly, wheels/bearings, springs and wires". He then provided me an estimate for $986.00. I thanked him for his time and sent him on his way. I even told him that I would be selling my house in less than 6 months, so I wanted a cheap solution. Not happy with him trying to tell me everything had to be replaced. I then ordered the carriage assembly from Amazon for $17./95 and watched a quick video on YouTube and fixed it myself.

I called because my garage door did not close properly. I called at about 9 am and was able to get somebody to come out that afternoon. He came right on time, was very professional, and was able to diagnose and fix the problem in a timely manner. Replaced rollers and some other parts, lubricated everything, and explained things to me in a way that I understood it. The door seems to be working just fine now. As far as cost goes, I don't know if it was high, low, or average, but compared with what other people I know have paid, it seemed just about in the middle. I would not hesitate to call Precision again.
