You know, the service call was priced on the high side especially if you already know the issue. In my case Gary (the tech) that came to my home got an a**hole for a costumer who had just came home to an unexpected quote $$ and a very basic expectation of up and down. Gary recommended what PDS recommends and services. PDS does not repair the door spring system I have due to professional differences in quality assurance and in their recommendation was a replacement of a subpar system that existed in my home. It was initially frustrating and I wasn't cordial with Gary and for that I am personally sorry for that and to him. Gary was professional with me and called his boss where I was able to overhear the conversation and he was on point. He did not sugar coat the scenario to make his boss take his side and when I talked to Craig about my initial dissatisfaction he was clear about his companies stance on quality assurance and offered me a solution to my concerns about the current door spring mechanism and bridged the gap between my needs and their service. I would absolutely recommend Gary and Craig to anyone who asked for my opinion.

Service response was terrific. Called late in the evening and was able to have service tech come out the next day. My tech Gary was AWESOME! He was very courteous and knowledgeable about the service he was performing. He asked the right questions evaluated our garage door and was able to diagnose the problem immediately. Gary reviewed and explained what was going on with our garage door and laid out the options we had. At no point did I ever feel pressure to have Prescision to do the job. The only hesitation I had was the concern on the price, it was more then what I was expecting to pay and was in my budget????. I was assured the replacement of the quality parts and life time guarantee. Having being a repeat customer I felt confident enough to go along with the repair, and the price hopefully will be worth it in the years to come. Thanks again for getting our garage door back in service and looking forward to have Gary come back out to grease and tune it up in the near future! ????

Five stars are not enough--prompt (even early!), polite, knowledgeable and explained everything to us. The technician was Gary Lang, Santa Fe. He deserves a promotion. He replaced the springs and aligned the door and added weather seal to the bottom.

I would rate this service at 4.5 stars because apparently the office person taking the call failed to inform the technician that I needed a rodent guard installed ( I explained to her that I needed the weather stripping on the bottom of the garage door to be "mouse proof") and she quoted an incorrect price. As a result, a technician came without appropriate material and had to reschedule service for next day. Both technicians ware excellent: called half an hour before showing up, came exactly on time, did the job quickly and left me confident that it was well done

Absolutely, over-the-top FIVE STAR rating! Gary Lang, a tremendous technician, called and said he could come an hour ahead of appointment ... tremendous! When he arrived he quickly diagnosed our garage door was on its last springs and rollers. He performed all repairs efficiently and quickly, fine-tuned our controllers, got our two in-car controllers working, as well as external key pads. WOW! What great service! I can't thank Ryan and Precision for fixing our garage door on February 1, 2016. My wife and I faced quiet the dilemna when our garage door would not open and we could not budge it to get our cars out. We called Precisions 24-hour phone number, talked to an actual human being at 9:00 PM on Sunday night, and got an appointment for the next day. Ryan called before he came and showed up right on time. He immediately diagnosed the problem of a broken spring. We could not open the door and since our vehicles were in the garage, Ryan had to work around them but in the end, he fixed the problem quickly. Prior to working on the project, he explained the situation, told me what he needed to do, and gave me a reasonable price quote. The cost was incredibly affordable considering the amount of work involved to replace the broken spring. Ryan was very personable and treated our home and garage with the utmost of respect. I will definitely recommend Precision and use them again should our garage door need servicing again. I'm glad they are here.

Did a good job repairing the door and explaining what he did and replacing frayed cables, showing me the old ones. I could not find the warranty on the original door but he told me to call the office if I did find it in case any part of the repair was covered by the warranty.
