Any time your schedule is compromised because of a breakdown, the stress level runs extremely high. Called Precision, and pretty much within the hour, a smiling, cordial, nice guy greeted me at the door, and assured me he's done hundreds of fixes. He did a great job in putting in a new spring. Needed to have the rollers replaced; the 12 year old rollers were very, very noisy/squeaky and silicon spray provided only a brief fix. I called around noon and set up an appt for 2 pm - 4 pm. Service tech Will called me earlier than the agreed upon window of time to let me know he was available to come earlier if that would be helpful to me. It was and I appreciated that. He was easy to communicate with and very professional. He installed the new rollers within a matter of minutes. I am a repeat customer, having required Precision Door's assistance back in Nov 2009. Both service appointments went well. I highly recommend these guys and would hire them again!

The service was excellent, and Rudy was quick, friendly, and professional! If I was reviewing his performance alone I'd definitely give a 5 star rating. However, my complaint is with the mark up on parts, while I understand you are a business and need to make money, $189.95 for rollers seems extreme. I looked them up after the fact, and the most expensive set I could find on-line was $59.99, with most sets being in the $20 range.

I expected a tuneup, not just a grease job and a sales pitch to buy a $500 opener. I can grease it myself.

This is advisable annually to maintain reliable, quiet operation and safety. However, also included was our 25-point garage door safety inspection (page 3 of your invoice) consisting of inspecting and servicing tracks, rails, checking nuts bolts and replacing any that are missing if necessary, inspection and advice on springs, cables, pulleys, center bearings, drums, torsion bar, jamb and flag brackets, hinges, general panel condition, opener, gear and sprocket assembly, weather seal, bottom rubber, wall button and remotes. We offer this service to ensure that your entire system is working optimally. Any findings or recommendations our technicians report are for your information and consideration and can be purchased additionally as the customer sees fit. Thank you for your business and feedback.
