I'd recommend Precision any day. From the initial salesman, installation of garage door AND opener system, and recent technician call-outs, they have been superb. Instructive, conscientious, etc. 8 yr ago was installation. This was my FIRST problem in 2014....and it involved the alignment of the safety (laser beam eye) mechanism due to cracking of the wood where the eye bracket was installed, which allowed the laser eye to misalign.

Called about a broken spring. Door was so old we replaced it for only 30% more than the cost of repairs. One technician replaced our door in a single afternoon. We appreciated receiving a picture of the technician scheduled for our job so we could recognize him when he arrived. On time and cleaned up nicely after the work was completed.

Rudy was knowledgeable and not only performed the appropriate repair service on the opener, but advised me on the importance of installing an exterior mounted release for the garage door since there are no other entrances into the garage in the event the opener fails. I am the new owner of a house in which there was a sticker from your company. From the time that I called, to the time a technician showed up was very fast and my concern was dealt with promptly! My only regret is that I forgot to ask (and the technician didn't address) the gap in the garage door seal at the bottom of the door (a rubber or plastic piece). I had noticed that there was a significant gap before and another workman had also pointed it out to me, but I didn't have a chance to bring it up to your company. When the wind blows (as it does here in Albuquerque!), a lot of wind comes into the garage. I would still like to have that problem fixed if you contact customers based on these surveys!

I really think when you do the initial call to even schedule an appointment over the phone the representative should advise you that the service charge for coming out is added to the bill regardless if you get the work done or not. Most companies deduct the service charge from your bill if you get the work done. Hope this review is helpful for some one else because I thought i was calling Rio Rancho garage doors. The only thing that made this experience ok was that the technican was a very nice guy

Our service call charge is quoted on the phone as a trip charge which includes us coming to you within 24 hours of your call, our 25-point safety inspection and a professional tailored service recommendation to your specific garage door needs. While many of our package prices do include this service call, you only needed minor repairs to your opener which is more of an "a la carte" solution. Again, thank you for your business and I am glad your technician took care of you satisfactorily.

Gary did a good job. Got here early, did the job, and was gone in about 20 minutes.

The garage door was installed in May of last year by your company. Exceptional service always. The repairman was on time and had the job done in 10 minutes. The only complaint I have is that the repair cost me. $250.00. I found that a little excessive.

Thank you for your review and I apologize that our pricing seemed a little excessive. The amount you were charged for the off-drum / crash charge, along with our trip charge, are both standard price sheet charges. We have these standard priced items on a laminated price list so we can show this to our customers - giving them the knowledge these are in fact standard prices. A door in the condition that your door was in when our technician arrived, requires that the technician take all remaining tension of the torsion springs, re-set the entire torsion system and rewind the torsion cable around the drum(s), and then rewind the torsion springs and re-balance the door. These steps are dangerous given the tension in the springs and requires both the necessary experience and correct tools to accomplish safely and with lasting results. Again, thank you for your feedback and I hope the explanation above has been helpful.
