I called with a garage door that wouldn't close and a technician arrived within a couple of hours. Allen was professional, friendly, and had great attention to detail. He went over the entire system and found the problem. While he was there, I had additional maintenance on the opener performed and he was happy to do the additional work. It was sweltering hot, but Allen kept a cool attitude and he was a pleasure to have do the job.

Your technician James Serda worked on our garage doors yesterday Thursday the 23rd. He did an excellent job, and I recommend him very highly. He is thorough, professional, knowledgeable, and communicative. He explained every step of the work before he did it and was very clear about the pricing and the different options available. My wife and I enjoyed meeting him and having him do the garage door maintenance. he tested both doors several times and and made the necessary adjustment un til things worked perfectly. There is a big disconnect between the people who answer the phone and make the appointments, and the technicians and company records. They have trouble finding my account and don't understand that I am a property manager and can be invoiced and don't communicate that at all, apparently, to the technician completeing the call. In addition, yesterday, I made an appointment, with instructions to make the service call appointment directly with the tenant. When I followed up today, the tenant said they had never called her and when she called them they had no record of the service request ever having been made. When I called them today, they verified that there was no record of my call from the previous day. I had to start at ground zero today..and the tenant had to wait a whole day, to get their garage door fixed. I give a lot of business to this company and would like to be appreciated more by having my account being quick to access and the arrangements I have made regarding payment clearly recorded for the technicians and appointment makers to see. I spent $4,800 with your company today...and I don't feel the love! If I had been recognized as a regular, repeat customer, and the appointment maker had followed through, I'd be rating you with 5 stars. The front line people are making you look bad.

Great fast service but cost of parts are marked up about 2500% so maybe try a couple other places and get quotes first. Although they are quick and timely here and the work is done fast and neat the price for parts is very very questionable. Not sure where they buy the parts but looked up parts after they had completed and was charged $250 for a $60 part at Home Depot for each spring so not sure if that was including the labor into part price but something that was supposed to cost around $200 to $400 cost $1000 even after their so called service discount special taking off $100. So suggest getting other quotes before pulling the trigger, just saying. But the job was done promptly I will give them that and they were very professional but due to the overcharging I could not give more stars because that is just too big of a difference to me, a disabled veteran on a limited income, especially when you are trapped in your home because you cannot get your car out of the garage.

I had to call early on a Sat. morning because my door would not open. They were able to have someone out by 7am. I was amazed at the quick response and of the quick work that was done. I have never had a long wait time with Percision and have always had great people taking care of me.

I called Precision Garage Door because I needed service on a German made Direct Drive garage door opener. After checking all the different components he determined it was shorting and since there are no parts available he installed a Lift Master. I couldn't get my car out of the garage this morning because my garage door wouldn't open. I found Precision Garage Door Service and decided to use them because of their high rating, and I was shocked that I was able to get a same day appointment. I also live in Edgewood. The times were so convenient for me which was a bonus. When Matt showed up, he was apologetic because he "took too long" but he was within my window, and I didn't mind. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and explained everything to me. He was not pushy when he was showing me the options for my garage door repair. It didn't take him very long to repair my door, and he had to put up with my howling dogs the whole time LOL. If I ever need garage door work, I will definitely use Precision Garage Door Service again and highly recommend you do the same.

Poor communication. Rude and unprofessional manager (if Gary is the manager). This company has serviced 2 addresses for us over the past 6 years for services worth more than $5k. Today’s experience was very unprofessional that I’m leaving this review although the way things were handled today, I doubt that any responsible action would be taken if Gary is the true manager. When we called last week and requested a technician to come back to check the garage door sensors at our rental for trouble shooting (they were replaced 2 months ago), I noted to the dispatcher and to call when the technician gets there since this is a rental. Apparently this information was noted like they said they would. On the day of service, I got a message from the technician that he was on his way, then 40 minutes later I get an email that the service has been completed - with no call or detailed provided of what was done. My husband and I had to call the Answering Service/dispatcher 3 times over two hour period to get a call from the technician to see what was done. After speaking to the first dispatcher, she said that there was no note for the technician to call and she said she will send a message for the technician to call ASAP. After receiving no call for an hour, I called again and spoke to another dispatcher and she said that perhaps that technician is busy and she would send another message. When i asked if there was a note that i called an hour ago for the same thing she said no there wouldn’t be which is not reassuring about the communication and the workflow. After 40 minutes I called for the third time and after receiving the same answer that they would send the same message to call ASAP, I requested to escalate this to a manager she said they would leave a message for him to call next day. The technician finally called and said the issue was just a loose wire that he fixed and apologized for not calling and said it was not noted for him to call and he thought the person at the property was my son. Then 15 min later I get a call from a person who identified as Gary and was talking in a angry and condescending way from the beginning - did not identify his role (I don’t even know if he’s a manager) and immediately after asking who am I threatened that they don’t have to service my address in the future. I replied to him that looks like he already made up his mind and I asked why is he talking that way he blamed me for not being at the appointment and calling After Hours at 6:30 PM.

I have used precision garage doors for many years and I have always been happy with the quality of the products and the knowledge of the technicians. Matt came on a Sunday and completed the job in less than 2 hours. The door is much quieter and I don't have to worry about the springs or other parts failing for many, many years!
