Poor communication. Rude and unprofessional manager (if Gary is the manager). This company has serviced 2 addresses for us over the past 6 years for services worth more than $5k. Today’s experience was very unprofessional that I’m leaving this review although the way things were handled today, I doubt that any responsible action would be taken if Gary is the true manager. When we called last week and requested a technician to come back to check the garage door sensors at our rental for trouble shooting (they were replaced 2 months ago), I noted to the dispatcher and to call when the technician gets there since this is a rental. Apparently this information was noted like they said they would. On the day of service, I got a message from the technician that he was on his way, then 40 minutes later I get an email that the service has been completed - with no call or detailed provided of what was done. My husband and I had to call the Answering Service/dispatcher 3 times over two hour period to get a call from the technician to see what was done. After speaking to the first dispatcher, she said that there was no note for the technician to call and she said she will send a message for the technician to call ASAP. After receiving no call for an hour, I called again and spoke to another dispatcher and she said that perhaps that technician is busy and she would send another message. When i asked if there was a note that i called an hour ago for the same thing she said no there wouldn’t be which is not reassuring about the communication and the workflow. After 40 minutes I called for the third time and after receiving the same answer that they would send the same message to call ASAP, I requested to escalate this to a manager she said they would leave a message for him to call next day. The technician finally called and said the issue was just a loose wire that he fixed and apologized for not calling and said it was not noted for him to call and he thought the person at the property was my son. Then 15 min later I get a call from a person who identified as Gary and was talking in a angry and condescending way from the beginning - did not identify his role (I don’t even know if he’s a manager) and immediately after asking who am I threatened that they don’t have to service my address in the future. I replied to him that looks like he already made up his mind and I asked why is he talking that way he blamed me for not being at the appointment and calling After Hours at 6:30 PM.

This was my second choice to call to come get my garage door to be fixed I had accidentally hit it with my car n it gave it a dent so it wouldn’t close and first I called this other place but they didn’t have anyone to come same day not even for emergency but yet they was charging 60-70$ more then here for emergency they were very helpful over phone they had said they will have some one show up at 6-8pm you can say a lil after I had called to send someone Allen arrived lil earlier then 6 Great experience he was honest polite he took his time to look what was wrong found the dent fixed it thankfully. he didn’t take advantage nor over charge nor added extra fees how some do! I will recommend this company to anyone ! Thank you again!

Hi Art here, I called called to get my garage door looked at. The call was was very good. Had an appointment the same afternoon 4pm to 6pm. There tech. James call and wanted to arrive earlier, the earlier the better. Their inspection of the door found more wrong than I found. I asked a repair job. They did a great job, replaced parts, repaired wires, replaced rollers, oiled the door, and adjusted the door. Did great job.

Hi Gary, We called Precision because the previous owners (9 years ago) had your sticker by the garage door opener button, so . . . And for good reason. Tony came out - first off, professionally dressed, and in a clean, well-kept company truck (always a good start). When I described what we needed on the garage door (a fairly major tune-up), he didn't hesitate to demonstrate his considerable knowledge of garage door systems and what is necessary to keep them running smoothly. Turns out, several easily-visible items need attention, but there was no high-pressure, no upselling, etc. He put together two estimates for repairs, both encompassing the necessary repairs, with one adding some items that were considered helpful extras for maintenance. A firm handshake (also a 'plus') and a signature on the larger estimate, and he was on his way, telling us Colleen at the office would call to schedule the service (forthcoming at this point). All in all, a good start to what will, hopefully, keep us opening and closing for many years. Many thanks.

The repair Mantoni was excellent and did a wonderful job and was clean and courteous. He fixed the garage door completely and put in a battery backup so I would not have the same situation. I was lucky. I picked Precision because of the star ratings plus it was around 8:00 pm when I could not get my garage door to close. Matt came over and fixed everything including a new motor, springs, rollers, etc Matt explained everything he was going to have to do to fix the problem. Plus, my garage door was so noisy. After he replaced my motor it runs very quietly and the garage door does not close with a bang. It closes very lightly. I got lucky. I asked AI who the best garage door businesses were. Yours came up first with the best reviews. So I called and got an appointment the very next day. I wanted the spring on the main door changed and the door adjusted. The smaller door adjusted. John explained the age of the parts including openers and so on. I decided to update everything. I'm glad I did. The doors work better than when we first built the house. I am very impressed.

They came out on a Saturday at not extra cost. They do have a trip charge. I was given 3 choices and prices on how to resolve my problem. They do have warranties on the two upper tier. The technician(s) answered all of my inquisitive questions, which helped me make decisions. They did a very good job, tested it out and tweaked this it that including any requests I had. So I am very satisfied with their job and I even added a bit more to the job. So I’ll be using Precision for my garage needs.

Just as promised, the Precision dispatcher said I'd be contacted by the technician about 20 minutes before the appointment time and that is just what happened. When he arrived, Matt Chwirka, was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and his professionalism was spot on. The damage parts were obvious. He also showed me the wear and tear of the other parts of the door system. That prompted me to upgrade. He applied a senior discount without me even asking. Atta Boy, Matt.
