This is my second experience with Precision Garage. I specifically asked for them the second time. They are knowledgeable, Friendly (with a capital F), punctual and efficient. I have already told my neighbors about them.

The technician did a good job installing the door frame, door rails, and door. However, I was not pleased with the way the rubber seal was kinked due to a wrapping strap during shipment. This kind in the rubber seal creates an air gap between the bottom of the garage door and the floor. The installer said the kink in the rubber seal will go away when the weather warms up. Until the kink goes away or the rubber seal is replaced I do not consider this installation completed in an acceptable manner.

Thank you for your input. I apologize for the issue you are having with the creased rubber seal from the packaging. I am assured from our door distributor that this seal will expand with the warmer weather. Please let us know if it doesn't work it's way out and I will order another piece and have it installed at no charge. Best regards. Craig

I had selected Precision previously to replace the motor and track mechanism. Therefore, I called back when I had a broken spring. Erica was absolutely delightful to deal with. To my surprise, a technician was available within a few hours. Gary showed up, we had a couple of laughs together as he prepared his quote, and within an hour all was fixed with no surprises. This is the way business should be conducted.

I am an avid Angie's List. I found Precision on Angie's List and once again it did NOT disappoint I have used Precision 3 times and I will never ever use anyone else. They are professional. They are attentive. I called this morning and my new garage door opener was installed this afternoon!! Gary showed up promptly for a safety inspection deal I bought through Angie's list. He did an inspection of the whole system, lubricated the wheels and door hinges, and disconnected the door from the opener to test the springs. It was pretty eye opening to see the door start to fall showing the springs weren't doing much at all. Since the springs didn't have any adjustment left (and were the original ones - 12 yrs old), he recommended to replace them. He was able to replace them right there without making another appointment. Gary explained what he was doing the whole time and did a great job, quickly. I was already concerned about the door because of noisy bearings on the door, but had no idea the springs were so bad. Thanks to the Angie's list deal and Precision Garage Door's expertise, I saved myself costly garage door repairs if the springs had failed. My door opener's life has been extended because it doesn't have to work so hard now to open the door. Thanks Precision Garage Door!

Today, Friday the 13th I backed into my garage door at 745am in the morning. I placed the call to Precision within 15 minutes of doing this and was advised there was a service window from 10-12.I asked for an earlier time and was bumped to 9-11. Given this I recevied a call from Gary Lang by 8:20 and he was at my house within 15 minutes. Exceeded my expectations on the time!!! As for the visit/repair both Gary and his partner were outstanding and both respected my situation and not being in the position to purchase a new garage door at this time but were honest and stated they could fix anything and they sure did. I did not feel pressured in to purchasing and Gary made me feel much better after removing that pressure from me and my anxiety came down a few notches. Needless to say it was a GREAT experience and both Gary and his partner were professional both in their work and with their customer service. I will definately be purchasing a new garage door from your company in the near future as these two gentleman were GREAT and turned my absolute horrible day into something to smile about from the turn around time of the call, to the arrival, to the repair, and most importantly the customer service and respect that Gary provided. THANK YOU for turning my Friday the 13 into a better DAY!!!!

Springs were extremely expensive and so was the service charge. We already spent $800 to install the garage opener {and other repairs}. What may have saved the costly parts and labor was the service. Rudy was very helpful.

The Service Tech called shortly after my initial contact with Precision to indicate he could come right away. He arrived promptly and was very professional and informative about the problem, what was needed to correct it and he quickly finished the job. All in all this was a very positive experience in a bad situation.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of this company and Gary, the technician. I was able to make an appointment on Monday afternoon and by Tuesday morning at 9am the work was done. Gary was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He showed up on time, a little early even, with a call beforehand. He presented me with a couple of options and I went for the "lifetime warranty" option which made sense for us. My only complaint is that the price was higher than I expected. That said, Gary's work was top notch and the equipment (new springs, rollers and main bearing wheels) was a clear upgrade from what was there when we bought the house. One other small complaint was that I had to call three times before I could get through - the first two times I was hung up on. I understand that the company has just put in a new phone system so some minor problems are understandable. It was nice to receive an appointment confirmation via email, and also a clear invoice for the services, via email right after the service was completed. Nice company to deal with.

A spring broke in our garage door. We called a company we have used for years and they gave us a price to replace the old door, but they also added about $500 that we would have to build out ONE side of the garage on the outside to accommodate the new door. We couldn't understand that because 16' is a standard garage door. We decided to get a 2nd opinion of the situation. The Precision ad in the phone book was what caught our attention 1st, 2nd was that they could fit into their schedule to come out that same day, 3rd was the young man who came to look at the situation and give us a price on a new door. He was in a very well marked vehicle, he was in a uniform that said who he was and what company he worked for. He did not have to call the office to get a quote for a new door or for other questions he could not answer. He answered all our questions and had a book to show us a picture of the new door as well as he gave us a price then. All that added up to our buying a new garage door. It was installed today by two professionals who worked well together, kept busy until it was installed, the old door ready to haul off and cleaned up after themselves. We will recommend Precision Door Co to any friends and neighbors to meet their needs in a professional manner.

Gary was prompt, fantastic, quick, and overall, I had an excellent customer service experience, especially on a no notice weekend call. Before calling Precision, I had called ABC and Overhead door and would not do business with them in the future based on their lack of customer service and support. During the service call, I asked Gary about three new garage doors for my home, and he wrote up a very detailed estimate and quote. We are planning on putting on new garage doors on within the next 6 months, and will call Precision Door, and Gary, to do this for us. Your excellent service and prompt service earned our business.
