The spring on my garage door broke on Saturday evening. I called to make an appointment Sunday morning and was scheduled for that afternoon - he was at my house before the scheduled time, which is great! I was given repair options and the tech explained everything I needed. Repairs were completed in less than an hour. If we ever need repair work on our garage door again, we'll definitely be calling Precision Door Service!

I called on a Sunday 4/30/17 and actually got a real person!! That's the first plus+. Second, I had an appointment scheduled in minutes and got a online confirmation for the next day 5/1/17. My appoint was at 4:00pm but I told the representative to call me if they could get here sooner. The representative (David) called me at 12:00pm and said he could be at my home in a hour if that was ok. he should up when promised, was clean, very professional, reviewed all the work necessary and completed putting on new springs and a control for garage door in less than a hour.... One Very Happy customer here... who would recommend Precision to you all!!

When I was having problems with my garage door I had called several places. I found Precision to be helpful and when the technician came over he wasnt pushing me for a sale. This I really liked. He took the time to explain everything and what I could afford was within my budget. Yesterday, late afternoon, my garage door failed to open. Upon checking further I noticed the Garage Door Spring had snapped. I immediately went to the Web to check on Garage Door Repair companies. After a thorough search, I found Precision to offer the best Service and Warranty. I called them yesterday evening and received a prompt response. I explained the situation and Precision set up a service call for today, between 10AM and 12 Noon and that Gary would be calling. Well Gary called early and came early. He was friendly knowledgeable and explained in detail what had to be done. Well, he did an excellent job and from that experience I would have no problem recommending Precision for any garage door repair or even installing a new garage door. So....Thank you GARY! and thank you PRECISION!...

Very disappointed with my experience with Precision. I called in and told them exactly what was wrong and what I needed done, but they wouldn't give me a ballpark estimate without sending a tech over. They said the tech would have to evaluate the garage door and that only then could I get an estimate. I had already called several other places and gotten estimates with no issues. Against my better judgement I scheduled an appointment with Precision because they had same day service available and I figured it would be about the same cost as the other places I had gotten estimates from. The tech came over and was very friendly and I told him what the issue was and what I wanted done. The tech looked at it for 2 minutes and agreed with what needed to be done. He then quoted me well over 2X the price of the other quotes I'd received. I was totally shocked and thought he had made a mistake. I asked him to go over what all that price included and he took me through all of the items. Essentially they were tying to up-sell and replace everything (rollers, hinges, bearings, pulleys/cables, and spring). I then asked him for a quote if only the work that was actually needed (broken spring replacement) and he entered it into his tablet and the price was still almost 2X the cost of the other quotes I had gotten. I asked if there was any other cheaper options to be competitive with the other quotes I had gotten and unfortunately there weren't. At this point I said that I was not going to have the work done by Precision and the tech said he understood and that there would still be the service charge for the 10 minute visit. I asked if there was anything he could do to waive the fee since he didn't diagnose anything that I hadn't already told them was wrong and he said that unfortunately he could not do that. So, I paid the fee and got another company to come out and do the repair for much less despite having to pay the service fee to Precision. My advice is to do your research and get several quotes (as one should always do with anything).

The response time to my request to have an appointment scheduled for an estimate was much quicker than I expected. Within 5 minutes of making the request online, I got a call to schedule an appointment the following day. The representative that confirmed the information with me provided SUPERIOR Customer Service and genuine care. Ryan came to my home and was professional, friendly, clear in his estimate, understanding, empathetic, and able to provide a FAIR estimate, and did so in a quick manner. The email for the quote was promptly sent and received. The flexibility of the company to replace my current "death trap" is amazing, and I wont have to take off work, as I can have someone here while the job is getting done. Thus far, my satisfaction is beyond what I expected. I look forward to scheduling an appointment to finalize the job. Had our garage door spring go out on us Friday night. Saturday morning I called precision garage door. They did a great job fitting us in last minute. They sent out gary that afternoon. Fast service and couldn't be happier with the job done. The old opener was here when we bought the house and it was mfg. in 2002 so that was pretty good. It was noisy for the last few years but the new opener is very quiet and has more features than the old one and all safety features work as they should. Also got an outside keypad that we didn't have before so that's nice to have if needed and it is still has security features build in. Gary was our tech and nothing but professional and completely capable with the job at hand, fast and did a great install and covered all of the operation and features of the new unit. Learned a long time ago you get what you pay for, especially in New Mexico.
